Aquatic mosses in my tank

Here are the pics of aquatic mosses in my tank. 










If you have any information on the above mosses, I'd appreciate it... please let me know.

  1. the unknown moss could be JUNGERMANNIA PSEUDOCYCLOP (ROSE MOSS)http://www.adana-usa.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=394 , but in jakarta sometimes called java spring, i dont know what the exactly name maybe to distinguish the moss similar to rose(Rose Moss / Rhodobryum ontariense) http://www.perverdonk.com/wild%20flowers/Lichens%20&%20Mosses/Rose%20Moss/200609303056%20Rose%20Moss%20(Rhodobryum%20ontariense)%20-%20Manitoulin%20Island.htm. i have this specimen from the root of bucephalandra.

    1. Hi thanks for your comment. Here is my tank specs :

      Tank : 2.5 feet (75cm x 30cm x 30cm)
      Lighting : 18W x 2 PL bulbs (12 hours)
      Substrate : Plain gravel
      co2 : diy co2
      ferts : Irons liquid ferts ( Mr Aqua)

  3. Your moss plants were all found in the wild? Rarely seen rose moss here in local fish shop. Do you sell the rose moss? I read about the fissidens too, you posted awhile back for sale, are they took from wild and ready to put in the tank? May i know the size that you are selling? Do i need to quarantine them b4 adding them in tank? What are the possible parasite that i would intro into my tank by adding them? Sorry for the questions, i am new to this.

    1. Hi Agnes, Yes most of the mosses I took are from the wild. I kept them in my tank until they converted into submerged form before selling them. I have never get complaint about parasite infection from my friends who bought the plants from me so far. If you want to quarantine them, I think it is not a bad ideas too.
